  Dr. Haskins did not listen to me to determine what may be wrong with my hand nor did he recommend any testing. He immediately asked if I smoked and told me that I had to quit right away and never be around anyone who smoked because this was the cause of all my problems. My symptoms? swelling in three of my five fingers on my non-cigarette holding hand that been going on since June (now Oct.) and nodules in my palms. And this is all cigarette related..only in one part of one hand. What? Does it feel neglected? His staff was unpleasant and bored looking. This is the only medical office in Horry County that I have been in (my mom has cancer and I am raising my two grandchildren, so I have seen a lot of different specialities, offices, doctors) and this is the only one in which I had a bad experience. The only thing he did was recommend PT/OT and give me a Rx of medicines that I tried to tell him did not work the two times it was prescribed before seeing him. I had RSD in my other hand 10 years ago and therapy makes this worse. I tried to explain this to Dr. Haskin, but he just said he did not "think" it was RSD and I needed to try therapy. So based on not knowing what is wrong, no tests, no real list of symptoms, no prior history, Dr. Haskins looked into medical bowl of things to say and wants me to go to therapy which previously made the condition worse and take already proven unaffective drugs and come back to see how that works. Oh, and in the meantime avoid smoke, even outside. Obviously, I do not recommend him, his office or most of his staff that I dealt with that day.
