- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My family has been going to Dr. Papotto since moving to the beach a decade ago. Always welcoming and calming with full attention to the patient. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes to be seen, Judy and the staff are always incredibly nice with friendly service plus the follow up is second to none. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr. Papotto is a competent doctor. I saw him for over four years. The reason I am giving him 1 star is because of his cold and callus dismissal of me as a patient after a hospital stay. I was having residual problems once I was released from the hospital, and had sent Dr. Papotto messages through the patient portal, concerning my struggles. He never responded in any way. In the interim, I missed 2 appointments and didn't call. I was, understandably, billed for the missed appointments. After I tried, unsuccessfully, to pay my bill through the patient portal, I called the office for assistance. I was told that I no longer have access to the patient portal, because I was no longer a patient. I was told that I should have received a certified letter stating my dismissal due to 3 total missed appointments. I was embarrassed, astonished and very upset. Dr. Papotto is a Christian doctor. The office name, Life in a Blender Family Medicine, implies an understanding that sometimes life can be painful and chaotic. Dr. Papotto's office practices seem to be in conflict with the compassion of Christ, as well as the philosophy that his office name implies. Recently, I saw a doctor for my Social Security disability determination, who was not a Christian. When I told him why I had no PCP, he responded, "That doesn't sound like a very Christian thing to do. " I agree.January 09, 2017by Kelley Foy
